Experience Whistler's festive glow as you go on a self-guided light tour through the Village to see some of the most spectacular twinkling light displays on the trees and buildings; you'll feel like you're walking in a real-life snow globe. These tours are best experienced from 4 pm onwards.

What's a snow season without a night of twinkling lights and a few laps around the ice rink? Enjoy ice skating under the stars at Whistler Olympic Plaza. Bring your own skates or rent some, and head out onto the ice for some fun. They are open from November 25, 2022, until late March 2023, 11 am - 8:30 pm and closed for hours maintenance, so be sure to check the schedule.

Tis the season for a whole lot bit of mountain magic! Our friends at Vallea Lumina have the perfect winter journey for the whole family to enjoy. December 1: Get The Goods Sip & Shop - Drink complimentary wine whilst you shop for the perfect gift at the Get the Goods Sip & Shop events, every Thursday until December 22. Discover local artisans at each weekly event providing beautiful craft services.

December 2: Roving Christmas Carolers - Join us in a fun Whister holiday tradition. The Whistler Singers group brings festive cheer to the Village on Friday, December 2 & 9 from 6 - 8 PM, and Saturday, December 3 & 10 from 3 - 6 PM on the Village Stroll.

December 2 - 3: Whistler Bespoke Market - Explore the Bespoke Market for a curated holiday shopping experience, showcasing creative entrepreneurs. Includes designers, small shop owners, makers and more. Located at Audain Art Museum, from 12 - 7 PM Friday, 10 AM - 5 PM Saturday. Tickets are $10 at the door.

December 4: Alpine Cafe Christmas Market - Alpine Cafe is hosting its own Christmas Market from 1 - 4 PM, featuring local artisans, live music by Charles & Bob, free hot chocolate and face painting for the kids, mulled wine for $6, and happy hour menu deals!

December 5: Holiday Wreath Workshop - Get into the holiday spirit in this 2-hour workshop and create your very own holiday decoration. Choose from a wide range of evergreens, mix and match to make a wreath exactly to your preferences. Location: Muse Lab, Unit 321, 2063 Lake Placid Road, Creekside Village. From 3:30 - 5:30 PM.

December 10: Christmas carols at Holiday Singapalooza - Join us in a fun Whister holiday tradition as Barbed Choir leads everyone in some holiday favourites. Entry by donation. All cash and digital donations support the Whistler Food Bank. Location: Maury Young Arts Centre, 7 PM.

December 17 - 31: Wintersphere - The ultimate winter wonderland experience! Wintersphere celebrates this magical time of year with festive activities for the entire family. Join in the fun with visits from Santa, entertainers, a holiday café, kids' crafts, a signature holiday maze and much more. Location: Whistler Conference Centre, from 9:30 AM - 5 PM. (Closed Dec 25 - 30).

December 18: A Winter's Song Solstice Concert - Join our talented musicians in a magical winter concert of flute, voice, and harp combine to celebrate the festive season. Location: Our Lady of the Mountains Church, 7 pm.

December 31: New Year's Eve Gala Dinner & Dance - Join the Fairmont Chateau Whistler from 8 PM, for a gala affair of pure extravagance when Macdonald Ballroom is transformed into a sparkling winter wonderland for an unforgettable New Year’s Eve Gala. Book your tickets.
